      Upload Custom Lists (CSV Files)

      AlphaMap's new feature allows you to effortlessly upload and manage custom location lists via CSV files, enabling you to efficiently create and update maps with up to 200 locations per list in both Map Explorer and Map Builder.

      We're excited to announce a powerful new feature that lets you upload custom lists using CSV files.

      Here's the scoop:

      • Effortless Uploads: Simply create a new list in Map Explorer and upload your CSV file. Your locations will be instantly added to AlphaMap.

      • Bulk Power: Add up to 200 locations per list, saving you tons of time and effort.

      • Seamless Replacements: Need to update your list? No problem! It is as simple as deleting the old CSV and uploading a new one with the most recent locations.

      Don't forget Map Builder!

      • Create custom maps with ease: Access your uploaded lists in Map Builder to craft personalized maps that perfectly suit your needs.

      • Add or update your location list: You can also upload your CSV file directly to a new or existing list within Map Builder.

      This update empowers you to:

      • Save valuable time managing multiple locations.

      • Build custom maps with greater efficiency.

      • Keep your lists organized and up-to-date.

      Ready to get started? Explore this exciting new feature in Map Explorer today!

      1. Click on "Map Explorer"

      2. Click on "Create new list"

      3. Input your list name and list description to keep your lists organized.

      4. Click on "Save and Upload Locations" to upload your CSV file.

      5. Drag a CSV file or upload a CSV file.

      6. Click on "Upload CSV File..."

      7. Uploading for the first time? Download our template: template.csv

      8. Click on the CSV you want to upload, "template (1).csv…"

      9. Name your first and only column, address, and structure your addresses as shown below...

      10. Select your CSV file "template (1).csv" from the file upload menu.

      11. Click on Match Data to sync your locations with our database.

      12. Click on "Insert # Location Into List" to complete the upload.

      13. And you're done! Note, the successful upload confirmation message is shown at the bottom of your screen in green every time.

      Additionally: All options for your custom lists are shown upon clicking "Manage Lists."

      Please note: While CSV files are currently the supported format, editing locations directly within AlphaMap isn't available yet. However, you can easily replace your list with a new CSV to ensure you have the most up-to-date information.
